I’ve been a fan of post-metal for a long time, probably since seeing ISIS and Cult of Luna around the early 2000’s, and having played in bands with those influences for a long time too, I feel like I know my way around a good post-metal record. Novere have certainly made a great one here, channelling a load of aspects of the genre that I love. Big riffs, gnarly tones, and atypical song structures abound.
Not to mention we made the whole thing in about 5 days I believe!
