This is an incredible album. A favourite of mine stylistically and made by some of the loveliest people to have come into the studio. Their vision for the record was so focussed and I was so privileged to be the one who got to channel it for them. I even got to play bass on a few bits which is always a treat.
A lot of attention was paid to getting the vibe right, be that atmospheric sounds buried within the tracks, or creating unique drum sounds by taking samples of the snare hit in the street outside the studio, or making Fraser play his guitar parts in weird and wonderful ways. I hope to see this lot playing many shows over the next few years.
